Context.

UD Santarém is the current club. I arrived in 2026 to coach the First Team goalkeepers, and the season is still under way. The work runs at the same time in the day-to-day of the first team, in the methodology that runs through the club's youth ranks, and in the reading of the next opponent.

Three fronts.

First team

I plan and deliver the First Team goalkeepers' training sessions. The goalkeeper is part of the team's overall training dynamics, with a particular focus on the first phase of build-up play. Alongside that, I design and continuously monitor the players' individual development.

Club

I define and oversee a unified goalkeeper training methodology across all of the club's youth ranks. The same criteria from the first team down.

Match

I run match observation focused on identifying the opposition goalkeeper's patterns and vulnerabilities, and I support the coaching staff in detecting and decoding the opponents' tactical patterns. I also contribute to the organisation of set pieces and to optimising the goalkeeper's zone of intervention.

At the same time, not in stages.

The daily work with the first team, the methodology that runs through the club and the reading of the next opponent.
